The Construction Defects Alliance is an informal alliance of homeowners, Owners’ Management Company (OMC) directors, approved housing bodies, the Apartment Owners’ Network and the Not Our Fault campaign who have come together to campaign for the implementation of the redress proposals contained in the
Safe As Houses? proposed:
- The establishment of a redress scheme to assist homeowners with latent defects;
- Provision of an information and advice service for those affected by defects;
- Redress scheme to be funded through industry levy matched by Government funding, tax write offs or interest-free loans.
In campaigning for the implementation of Safe As Houses? proposals, the Alliance has the support of the Apartment Owners’ Network as well as a number of professionals working in the construction sector. It also currently involves owners and OMCs from over a dozen different locations around greater Dublin area which are affected by construction defects Including developments near Swords, Blanchardstown, south Meath, City Centre, Dublin 6 and 12, Stillorgan and Sandyford.

If you or someone you know is affected by defects it’s vital that you join the campaign to ensure that:
- Government puts in place a fully State-funded defects remediation scheme;
- Owners who have paid or are paying for defects remediation are reimbursed.
